In the first few days a experienced and knowledgeable audiophile can set up and position the speakers for proper imaging and soundstage, and appreciate much of the outstanding musicality of the Gen 4s. The in-home 30 day trial period is a reasonable time to allow the speakers to further break-in and allow the listener to acclimate to the finer virtues of the speakers.
